Learn Mandolin Through the Pattern Method

Bb7 scale


Start with the Bb note on the D string and play the scale through the A string then the E string. Notice the 7th note of the scale is moved down one fret from A natural Ab.


Use the previous fingering patterns







Theory

The Bb Dominant 7th scale has 0
sharps and 3 flats.



Notice that the Bb7 scale resembles
the Eb Major scale.

The dominant scale will resemble
the 4th note of the current dominant
scale your playing.
